Concept and Features:

The Mnemosyne Social Hub is a dedicated space for social interaction and community engagement, aimed at enhancing residents' quality of life and happiness. This communal area within the Mnemosyne Edgecliff building eliminates the need for residents to seek alternative venues for socialising or hosting events. It supports a variety of activities and events, fostering camaraderie and offering ample opportunities for residents to pursue shared interests and hobbies. By providing a designated social space, the hub encourages interaction beyond individual units, helping to combat feelings of isolation in our hyper-individualistic world.

Reflecting the theme of Ancient Greek and Roman names, each space within the hub is uniquely named to match its purpose and vibe:

Thermae – Pool and fitness centre:

"Thermae" refers to ancient Roman communal bathing facilities that were integral to social and cultural life, serving as gathering spots for relaxation, socialisation, and leisure activities. At Mnemosyne Edgecliff, this concept is brought to life through facilities designed to promote health and wellness for residents. Key features include an infinity pool, a luxurious spa, and a high-end fitness studio with dedicated zones for cardio and strength training. The use of marble, stone, timber, and mosaic tiles adds to the opulent and serene atmosphere, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality. Exclusive to residents and their guests, these amenities provide convenience, social interaction, stress relief, and year-round enjoyment. Inspired by the classic Greek and Roman thermae, the area incorporates traditional design elements with a contemporary twist to meet modern preferences, ensuring a perfect blend of timeless elegance and modern luxury.

 “Dionysus” – Cinema and Bar:

In Greek mythology, Dionysus is the god of entertainment and all things pleasurable, associated with the celebration of wine, the joys of life, and the theatre. Aptly named, this zone provides exciting opportunities for entertainment and social interaction for the Mnemosyne Edgecliff residents. The exclusive cinema is equipped with a large projector screen, comfortable seating, and advanced audiovisual technology, offering an immersive movie-watching experience akin to larger cinema complexes. The bar area serves as a space for moviegoers to enjoy drinks and snacks, while also offering seating for socialising outside the cinema. Inspired by old Hollywood movies with a touch of Art Deco embellishment, the stylish finishes and furnishings create an exciting ambiance. Deep greens, reds, and gold accents adorn the space, enhancing the overall atmosphere and making it a captivating retreat for residents.

Arete” – Co-working Studio:

"Arete," a term from ancient Greek culture embodies the pursuit of personal development and the cultivation of virtues as essential for a fulfilling and meaningful life. This concept perfectly aligns with the purpose of the co-working office space at Mnemosyne Edgecliff. Designed as an alternative to traditional workplaces or home offices, the space offers residents a dynamic and stimulating environment for professional growth. Inspired by modern office design trends, the studio features a striking contrast between robust, finished concrete and vibrant orange accents, which together stimulate creativity and productivity. An array of lively planters enhances both the aesthetic appeal and air quality, creating a healthier and more pleasant work environment. The space is versatile, accommodating various working styles with options for solo work as well as collaborative efforts in multiple zones, including private boardrooms. The design focuses on freshness, inspiration, and functionality, incorporating additional amenities such as breakout areas and kitchen facilities to provide ultimate convenience and support diverse working needs.
