Concept and Features:

Belvidere House is a retreat designed for a novelist seeking solace and inspiration from the captivating Vermont landscape. A true reflection of the client's profession and personality, this home is situated on the secluded Belvidere Lake amidst the Green Mountains. The serene location offers a perfect escape, allowing the novelist to immerse in the natural beauty and tranquillity of the surroundings.

Drawing inspiration from the distinct characteristics of Mid-Century Modern design with a touch of Art Nouveau ornateness, Belvidere House fuses these classic styles to create a one-of-a-kind residence. The use of native timber species such as American Maple and Yellow Birch ensures that the house seamlessly integrates with the surrounding foliage. Large steel-framed windows not only offer expansive views of the lake but also reflect its serene waters, enhancing the connection between the interior and the environment.

Inside, natural stone masonry features prominently, grounding the space and reinforcing its bond with the landscape. The interior exudes warmth and peacefulness, creating a sanctuary for the novelist to escape into their creative world. Belvidere House successfully blends architectural elegance with the raw beauty of nature, providing an idyllic setting that transports its occupants to another realm of serenity and inspiration.
