Concept and Features:
Mnemosyne Apartments are a pair of serviced apartments that redefine luxury living. This units are to be incorporated into a new multi-storey tower by Mnemosyne Edgcliff to replace the existing Edgecliff Centre shopping mall.
High-quality natural materials such as timber and linens in a variety of textures and finishes are used throughout, creating a harmonious and sophisticated aesthetic. Thoughtful design ensures that natural light is maximised, with artificial lighting strategically placed to enhance visual interest. Built-in joinery pieces add a touch of elegance, promoting functionality while reducing the need for easily damaged freestanding furnishings. These elements combine to create a space that is both inviting and enduring, reflecting the essence of refined living.
The suites feature sliding partition doors, allowing for adaptable living spaces that can be customised to fit any guest's needs. These doors offer a seamless connection between rooms while providing complete privacy and security when closed due to the robust locking system. Noise-reducing insulation ensures quiet and undisturbed use, enhancing the overall living experience. Whether guests desire an open-plan layout or separate, private areas, the flexibility of these partitions caters to every preference, making the apartments versatile and accommodating.
The living area, designed with Japandi principles, is a standout feature with its raised carpeted floor, luxurious furnishings, and floor-to-ceiling windows offering breathtaking views of the city and harbour. This space can transform into a home theatre with blackout window treatments and a state-of-the-art TV system built into custom media joinery. Adjacent to the lounging area, the dining space serves multiple purposes, from dining to meetings, conveniently located near the kitchenette and mini bar. The design ensures that guests can entertain, relax, and work in a setting that is both beautiful and functional, seamlessly blending comfort with style.
The private realm of the apartments includes a serene bedroom designed for optimal relaxation, featuring timber finishes, soft furnishings, and botanical-inspired prints. A balcony extends the living space outdoors, providing a private retreat where guests can enjoy the views in peace. Placed towards the back of the resting areas is the well-being area. Inspired by Japanese bathing traditions, offers a zen-like sanctuary with high-quality artificial and natural lighting, ensuring a refreshing and rejuvenating experience.
